Yeah, okay, it's been a while!

Yeah, I've been neglecting my blog lately. But really, it's a good thing! I've been busy!! I've been bouncing all around, 3 different countries in the last three months, all kinds of exciting makeup gigs, and some very exciting news:

I am opening my new Makeup Studio! Inside CLICK Salon! CLICK is exactly the kind of place I have been looking for - chic, centrally located, well known and respected, AND containing a dear pal: Charlie Price. What more could a makeup artist ask for??! Come by and see me: 231 Milwaukee Street, Denver (Cherry Creek North).

This is the new January issue of 303 Magazine. It is the awards issue, and yours truely won best Makeup Artist!! Hooray! It's truly a delight to be given this award by my very talented peers. Thank you! Anyway, here's some photos from it:

This month has been quite interesting - I have done everything from the standard wedding makeup to Rockstar impersonators for the Harley Davidson Convention! I was also delighted to work on the press tours for both "Race to Witch Mountain" (AnnaSophia Robb) and also for the film, "Adam" starring the talented Hugh Dancy (Confessions of a Shopaholic). And later this week I will be working with the Oscar winning musical duo "The Swell Season" from the film "Once", on a spread for Filter Magazine. Work has been amazingly busy. And all of my brides so far have been fantastic (I am now knocking on wood to asure I don't jinx myself)! I have also had the opportunity to work with some fantastic new up and coming models that are inches away from hitting it big-time. I'll attach some images below for you all to gander at.

Wedding Season is officially here!

Last month I was delighted to do the makeup for the new collection of Alisa Benay bridal couture. It was a wonderful weekend spent in the beautiful Cherokee Ranch Castle. It was the perfect way to start off wedding makeup season for me! Kim Nodurft was the fab photographer www.kimnodurft.com AND I met a WONDERFUL hairstylist as well - Tasha Valenti of "The Look" salon in cherry creek is AWESOME - and she's already been kind enough to give me a hair makeover, check out my new profile pic on TWITTER with my new hair color!

Spring is in the AIR!!

The weather here in Colorado has been mind-blowingly beautiful lately, and my recent photoshoots seem to be reflecting this sunny, cheerful, colorful feeling that is floating around!

I recently shot Marc Tuscher again, and our stunning subject was the spunky miss Natalie Moore. She fit this vintage makeup so well!! She's really got this young Liz Taylor vibe going on here!



I was the makeup artist for another vibrant shoot with Jannelle Althoff. This project was for the CD cover of talented musician Andrea Ball.

Be my Valentine!

It's that time of year again, Valentine's Day, and everyone seems to be feeling girlie, flirty and fresh - and my recent photoshoots seem to be reflecting that!

Here are some STUNNERS from my recent shoot with Bogdan (that I told you about in my last post). I really can't believe how well this ALL-NATURAL makeup photographed. I knew Jane Iredale's products looked amazing in person, but the fact that they can hold their ground with all of these highly-powered studio lights is incredible!! So here are some unedited photos from my first all-natural shoot (PS Bogdan don't kill me for showing the unedited versions! The RAWs are so good they hardly need editing at all!).
